The new Knitty is up!

I won’t spoil any surprises, but I’m quite pleased with this issue because of the wide variety of stuff in it. I think the sizes will also make a lot of people very happy: all of the sweaters run from 32″ (29″ in one case) on up to at least 53″ – one sweater goes to 64.5″. And the models wearing those sweaters span nearly that full gamut.

Thinking about that diversity thing, the models are mostly white, with two exceptions, but I think that’s reasonable because 1) model ethnicity does not affect the actual product the way size does and 2) more importantly in most cases the designer is serving as her own model – the two exceptions are for a shawl designed by a guy and a child’s sweater (and the child is one of the two models of color.)
