dichroic | blah. being married to management sucks.

Just found out that the spouse will be leaving early next week for over two weeks away, including our 16th anniversary, for Big Suddenly Important work thing.

Note: I scheduled my LASIK when I did on the theory that he would be around until somewhere in August, in case I had any issues with my vision that would preclude driving. I haven’t, not from the LASIK, anyway. (Ocular migraines both Sunday night and Monday morning, blah. Can’t drive if I can’t see, but can’t plan for those - and these were the first in three months.)

He called to ask my opinion on travel dates. What the hell am I supposed to say to that? There’s no right answer, since the choices are limited to “I don’t want you to go but I know you will anyway as we don’t have major plans or crippling illnesses” or “Oh, yes! I’m happy for you to go!” Not sure which he’d prefer least.
