dichroicI have a favor to ask. I've written another Holmes / HP crossover fic, and could use a beta reader. It's only going up on my usual fanfic site, so in one way it's not important at all. On the other hand, it's got my name (well, nom) on it, so obviously I'd prefer that it be as good as I can reasonably make it, and I have enough respect for both sets of source material that I don't want to do anything horrid in their worlds. More importantly, this is a real stretch for me; it's got all kinds of things I've never tried before (actual plot, for one) so I'd like feedback.
I don't want someone to just read it and say "Loved it, it's great!" Considering some of the stuff out there, especially among HP fanfic, of course it's relatively successful. (Considering other stuff out there in the same universe, of course it totally sucks - but I'm not good enough to do anything about that.) I have some specific questions, and I'd also really appreciate it if someone very familiar with the Holmes Canon and at least somewhat so with the HP books can tell me if I've done a reasonable job with the voice and chacters. It's nearly 5000 words, about 10 pages in MS Word.
