Because I have the memory of a sieve I recently accidentally bought a second copy of Worldwired, by Elizabeth Bear (aka [livejournal.com profile] matociquala). (It's not that it's a forgettable book, just that the first copy is still in my to-be-read pile.) This is a brand new paperback, free to a good home. It's the third book in her Jenny Casey series, and I think is best read as part of the series rather than as a standalone, so please don't ask for it unless you have already read or intend to read the first two.

Parameters: US only, please - sorry, but even shipping to Canada is so much more expensive that it's more than the cost of the book. First to ask gets it, except that locals get preference - but I don't think I actually have many local readers, so don't let that stop you from asking.

Also, while I'm at it, does anyone want an ex-lib hardback copy of House, by Tracy Kidder, about the process of building a house but with attention given to the relationships among builders and homeowners more than to the architectural process? Or a near-mint trade PB of Last of the Mohicans, by James Fenimore Cooper? I confess I share Mark Twain's opinion about that one.
