dichroic | Amazon is a tease

I just got an email receipt from Amazon for Welcome to Bordertown, which I’d preordered some tie ago. So of course I opened the Kindle app on my iPhone to see if I could download it. It wasn’t there.

It occurred to me that it might just be a little delayed, so next I checked on the Amazon Manage Your Kindle and sure enough it *was* there, then a minute later it popped up on the iPhone. The Kindle is defeinitely an enabler for those of us who like instant gratification.

Now all I have to do is get through work today without goofing off unforgiveably and checking out the book. I will just need to take a quick peek, though…

Most important: It’s Book Day for Bordertown!!! The Border is open again!
