new monkeys - now with music!
Sep. 12th, 2007 10:15 amWe foudn a new home for the cat, which is a huge relief, though I'm not really looking forward to the first day I come back to a catless home, for the first time since 1989. The new people seem very excited about him, which is reassuring - they're traveling the last week of September so will come get hom after that. The guy is in an indie/pop band, and from the sound of it one that's getting some attention - their trip this month is for his band to play in Liverpool (sounds very reverse-Beatles, especially since Rudder and I just drove through Hamburg a couple of weeks ago and it's not all that far from here).
Maybe I should play some of their music for the cat to get him used to it? Seriously, though, any advice on helping him adapt to a new home would be welcome. He's always hated leaving old places but settled right into new ones, but this is the first time he'll be with new people instead of us and he's timid around strangers. (He did let them pet him, though, when they came to meet him Monday.) Advice welcome from cat people.
