Nov. 16th, 2006 11:46 amSo much Europe, so little time. So far we've been to Utrecht and s'Hertogenbosch, and of course seen assorted sights in Eindhoven where we live. This weekend we'll likely visit Kasteel Helmond. In December we'll go to Munster for the Christmas Markets, and then on a cruise inthe Mediterranean which stops at Naples, Rome, Athens, Rhodes, Alexandria (whence we can take a day trip to Cairo and Giza) and Tripoli. (It boggles my mind to think I'll be setting foot in Libya, a bit. I don't believe I'll wear a Star of David that day.) And the two Africa stops will be our 7th continent visited. We may also attempt a day trip to Amsterdam before the cruise in pursuit of holiday pressies for the families.
But we definitely have more places we want to visit than weekends to see them in. So while I've probably asked this before, what should we absolutely not miss while we're over here? Especially among the nonobvious things we might otherwise miss, or the things we're less likely to make special trips to see later on when we're back in the US? (Don't worry, <lj user="kiwiria", Copenhagen's definitely on the list!)
