poetry contest

Spurred on by some recent discussion about possible reasons people might not be joining the Science Fiction Poetry Association (SFPA, though the name is currently under discussion), I will sponsor a small poetry contest, with an SFPA membership as prize. samhenderson has offered to kick in a copy of this year’s Rhysling Anthology as an additional prize.

I’m working on details (theme, judging, rules) now. Look for an announcement here within a week. Feel free to spread the news anywhere and everywhere, but I think it’s probably best to wait until the actual announcement.
