books and shadows

I've been mostly keeping my writing, such as it is, over here lately. (Fiction, more, I've always had poetry on the main site.) But for International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day, I wanted to put something up on my main site. And then I wasn't satisfied with what I wrote, so it made sense to put revisions there as well. Just for completeness here are links to them all:

(Personal opinion: the first one has a good idea but otherwise sucks. The second has some decent lines in it, but otherwise etc. The third is getting a little better, but the last verse is weak. The "3b" version is a bit of fluff, for fun, and I'm not sure what I think about the other poem in there.)
