You can ask me five questions in a comment, or I'll ask you five questions if you want me to. Whether or not you've done this before and whether or not you know me well, ask away, or be asked.

The five Marissa asked:
1. If your life had a soundtrack, which artist or artists would perform on it? Would it be one of those unified soundtracks all done by the same person, or the mishmash of various situational tunes?
No question, it would be a mix, ranging from things you've heard of to extremely obscure. Mary Zikos would be well represented (actually, I think the song I'm thinking of was originally by Si Kahn) but so would George Thorogood (not for time spent doing the things he sings about but for being in the mood to at least think about them). Stan Rogers, definitely. Bob Dylan. Dar Williams. Jimmy Buffett. The Roches, Robert Earl Keen. And it would be fairly randomly mixed.

2. What are your favorite drinks of various categories?
All-purpose: agua, sin gas.
Beer: microbrews, ranging from amber to stout depending on circumstance, mood and accompanying food. I tend to prefer moderate hops and chewier grains.
Wine: not sweet. Otherwise, again depending on accompanying food/mood.
Juice: orange.
Soda: Coke or ginger ale. NOT diet.
Gatorade: red or blue or aqua.
Mixed drinks: rarely and only if in a mood for something more exotic. Exactly what depends on mood but I tend to prefer something either sweet (screwdriver, cosmo, White Russian) or tart (kamikaze) to the ones purely alcoholic like martinis.
Tea: various types of black, green, or floral. I don't like fruit teas.
Coffee: good decaf, sweetened with real sugar, either with or without cream. No plastic "creamer" or fake sugars.
I think that covers just about anything I ever drink.

3. Are there any colors you like but can't/won't wear?
About the only colors I really can't wear near my face are beige and bright yellow, and I don't like them enough to mind. Otherwise, I can wear black, white, gray, off-white, brown, jewel tones, and pastels, which pretty much covers anything I'd want to wear. The only thing I can't do that would be nice is to look elegant in a beige suit, the way blondes often can. I look like a potato in one.

4. If you could choose one housekeeping chore that would just do itself, which would it be?
That depends. Is that assuming I get to keep my current cleaning service no matter what I choose? If so it would be hard to choose between a cook/meal planner or a straightener-up. As my father would say, I'm not from the good housekeepers.

5. What's the best thing about flying?
Knowing you can do it.
