Mar. 2nd, 2005 12:58 pmI don't remember what I did when I turned 20 (not much, probably as my birthday always fell during Spring Break and my parents made me come home for it) but the week I turned 21 I went skiing in Steamboat Springs - not my first ski trip, but first time on an airplane, first time west of not just the Mississippi but even the Alleghenies, first time out of my native time zone. The month I turned 30, I went skydiving and began working on my pilot rating. I have two years and a week to figure out what I'll do for an encore when I turn 40. I can't get an instrument rating because I'll have long since finished it by then (I hope).
I suppose I could go to Africa, my last unvisited continent.
