initial entry
Feb. 7th, 2003 02:20 pmMy main journal is Dichroic Reflections, currently at http://dichroic.diaryland.com. I generally update once or more every day.
I'm here mostly to join in the conversation. I hate commenting on someone's LJ entry and having to do so anonymously; it makes me feel as if I'm skulking around, afraid to stand behind what I say. Also, I want to support open sourcecode.
I am or have been at various times active on listservs and e-mail groups discussing Lord Peter Wimsey (and a general-subject offshoot), Anne Shirley and her sibs sprung from the same pen, Harry Potter, Amelia Peabody Emerson, and Mary Russell, and have used noms de clavier including Air Pilot Grant, Paula of the Milky Way, and the furtive patach. (I'm trying to think of possible privacy breaches from listing those names together, but can't think of any worse than those attendant on the original posts.) If you're thinking about checking out my journal, expect a balance of discussion of books, rowing and daily life, with diversions covering bras, morality, history, politics, and almost anything else I happen to be thinking of. It's kind of light on the usual sex-and-angst issues, though, I warn you.
