For instance, having a fully delineated character of Aslan and then his referred-to but never fleshed-out Father over the Sea is silly for me, but Aslan's combination of mercy, justice, gravitas, joy and sorrow go a long way to illustrating characteristics the creator of a universe would have to have - and how they can coexist.
