1) My uncle: is also a very good friend.
2) Never in my life: will I renounce Judaism. Add to or move within it, yes.
3) When I was five: I wanted to be a dentist. At the dental office I went to, after you got your teeth cleaned you got to pick out a small toy from a basket. I figured if I were the dentist I'd get to have all the toys.
4) High school was: full of people who really weren't cruel at all - I didn't have nearly the horrible time a lot of other people seem to have had, though I also certainly didn't enjoy it the way I did college.
5) I will never forget: my grandparents.
6) I once met: Charles de Lint. He sang Fred Eaglesmith's "Lucille" for me.
7) There’s this girl I know who: knows exactly what her Proper Job is. I have so little notion of mine that that always impresses me.
8) Once, at a bar: my college's gymnastic team convinced me that Kamikazes should be drunk as shots. Bad move.
9) By noon I’m usually: starving, if I haven't eaten already.
10) Last night: we went to bed early for the best of reasons.
11) If I only had: a way to gain time without sacrificing money. (Or at least not a ton of it.)
12) Next time I go to church, I: will probably be going to someone's wedding.
13) Terri Schiavo:I have some sympathy with the position of everyone involved EXCEPT the politicians.
14) What worries me most: is not being good enough.
15) When I turn my head left, I see: a whiteboard.
16) When I turn my head right, I see: a bulletin board, and the gryphone I bought at last year's RenFaire.

18) What I miss most about the eighties: access to good public transportation - but that's a function of place, not period.

20) By this time next year: I'll have completed my IFR and figured out if I want to go back to serious rowing competition.

22) I have a hard time understanding: my boss, some days.
23) If I ever go back to school I’ll: study Linguistics. Or FOlklore. Or Cognitive Science. Or the interactoin among all three.
24) You know I like you if: I go out of my way to talk to you, as opposed to just talking when we happen to meet.
25) If I won an award, the first person I’d thank would be: Rudder.
26) Quine, Kierkegaard, Bentham, Rawls: Who? Well, I know who Kierkegaard is. Jeremy Bentham or another Bentham?
27) Take my advice, never: assume everyone else knows what you know.
28) My ideal breakfast is: light.
29) A song I love, but do not have is: Can't think of any. I'm old and solvent, and now have used iTunes, meaning that I've had time and cash to get most of the stuff I'd been wanting. There are a few I only have on cassette that I'd lilke to ge digitally, like say Alex Bevan's original version of Grand Rivier Lullabye (instead of the one he did after he'd been singing it or 20 years).
30) If you visit my hometown, I suggest: The Franklin Institute. Franklin Court. A drive by Boathouse Row. A walk through Penn. A visit to the Rosenbach Museum.
31) Tulips, character flaws, microchips & track stars: nope, not a good chorus for a country song.
32) Why won’t anyone: make clothes for women who work out?
33) If you spend the night at my house, don’t: think I don't enjoy having company, even if I have to leave early in the morning.
34) I’d stop my wedding for: too late. And I wouldn't have.
35) The world could do without: people who think only they are right.
36) My favourite blonde[s] include: one of the people I had breakfast with last Sunday - and now, her three offspring.
